Insurtech Joyn Insurance Continues to Expand by Adding Excess Coverage in 21 States and Washington, D.C.; Property Coverage in Seven States; E&S General Liability in New York
NEW YORK December 1, 2021—Insurance technology company Joyn announced today the expansion of E&S coverage to a total of 28 states plus Washington, D.C. The majority of the new offerings are Excess lines of business in 21 states and Washington, D.C, with seven states seeing expansions into Property lines and General Liability added to Joyn’s New York offering, which launched last month. Joyn began underwriting on July 1 of this year.
“This marks a significant expansion for Joyn with new lines in every state where we are live,” said Seraina Macia, Joyn’s CEO. “We will be adding General Liability and Excess to additional states on January 1, with more lines and states on the way in early 2022.”
“So far, we have seen a tremendous response to our commercial insurance offering, solving the pain points and challenges that brokers have traditionally experienced and turning the overall process into a joyful one,” Macia continued. “We look forward to continuing to offer best-in-class products and serving an expanding customer base with our easy way of doing business.”
The coverage expansion adds Excess coverage on a supported basis effective December 1, 2021 in California, Connecticut, Delaware, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Massachusetts, Maryland, Maine, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Rhode Island, Texas, Virginia, Wisconsin, West Virginia, and Washington, D.C.
