In March, our co-founder and COO Callie Thomas participated in an InsurTech Hartford panel discussing growth strategies in the insurtech industry. As many companies have seen a slowdown after the recent boom in insurtech investments, they are now looking to continue moving forward with a strong strategy for sustainable growth—further complicated by an uncertain economy.
Reflecting on the event, Thomas said, “While all of my fellow panelists had amazing and insightful things to share, for me the most important piece of a growth strategy is having the right people in place. This applies whether you’re just getting off the ground as a startup or whether you’ve become established with a strong book of business.”
“In order to have any venture succeed, you have to have a team that is aligned and working together toward the same goal,” Thomas continued. “Furthermore, they have to have the same mindset about the cash flow and the dollars that are available to spend.”
