Insurtech Joyn Insurance Announces Expansion into Utah, New Mexico and Oklahoma for all Three Lines of Coverage (Property, General Liability, and Excess)

NEW YORK (October 3, 2022)—Insurance technology company Joyn Insurance announced today that its three lines of coverage—property, general liability, and excess—were now live in three additional states: Utah, New Mexico, and Oklahoma. With these additions, Joyn is now accepting submissions in 38 states and Washington, D.C.

“With just over a year in the market, Joyn continues to grow its offerings and demonstrate the value of its innovative, technology-driven insurance offerings,” said Seraina Macia, Joyn’s CEO. “This year alone we have dramatically expanded the states where we operate as well as our class offerings, and we are continuing to identify ways to enhance our product to the benefit of our brokers, partners, and insureds.”

“We have demonstrated that the market is ready for a faster, more accurate, and more transparent insurance experience that saves time, costs, and frustration and we are excited to be leading the way to provide it,” Macia continued.

Joyn was launched to remove the pain points and operational inefficiencies that commercial insurance brokers and underwriters experience all too frequently. Joyn achieves this by seamlessly integrating insurance and technology expertise to create a better way of providing insurance for brokers and customers. By building a technology ecosystem from the ground up, Joyn’s customers and clients enjoy a faster, more accurate, and more transparent user experience that saves time while reducing costs and frustration.

Earlier this year, Joyn announced additional NAICS codes to its class eligibility, including car washes, convenience stores, dry cleaners, dwellings, gas stations, health clubs and gyms, landscaping, liquor stores, parking lots and garages, restaurants, sporting goods manufacturers, and warehouses and mini warehouses. Joyn also announced the addition of equipment breakdown coverage to its list of offerings, including all the coverages, services, and benefits associated with traditional equipment breakdown insurance as well as additional coverages designed to address today’s modern equipment risks and technology-related failures.
