What’s your role at Joyn?

As the Broker Relationship Leader at Joyn I will help drive strategic partnerships across the retail and wholesale distribution channels. I will be responsible for engaging with key trading partners and ultimately driving adequate submission volume to achieve our strategic objectives. I will contribute to Joyn’s success by leveraging my 20 years of experience in our industry, my relationships with key leaders in distribution, and through bringing my positive energy and enthusiasm to the team every day.

What attracted you to Joyn?

I can’t say enough great things about the people at Joyn. To work with the company’s senior leaders was an opportunity I could not pass up. I was also excited about the opportunity to build a better tool for our partners and customers and the ability to build a more inclusive company than what is typical of our industry. It’s so impressive to see what Joyn has been able to achieve since launching last year and I know that there are even bigger things ahead. Joyn’s small size, vibrancy, and lack of any legacy makes it incredibly unique, and I am thrilled to be a part of the Joyn team.

Tell us about your passions and motivations outside of Joyn.

Outside of work, I love spending time with my two teenage boys. One is a coder/gamer and the other is an athlete so I get to live in multiple worlds through them. I also try my best to exercise and be outside 4-5 times per week! My biggest passion is finding the kindness and empathy in others. I am definitely an insurance junkie so you can find me reading the Business Insurance Magazine, NY Times, Wall Street Journal, Insurance Insider, Insurance & Technology. I also attend numerous annual conferences and events to stay current on what’s happening in our industry.
